Who we are
Reno is an early-stage digital support platform currently in active development, operated under CAUSA — Creamos Identidades by José Renato Carmona Capriles, in Panama.
What data we handle
Reno handles information entered by the family, which may include the patient's name and age, treatment details, daily logs, documents, photos, and family contacts. This is sensitive health data and we treat it with the utmost care; when the patient is a minor, we apply reinforced protections. It is used only to organize the treatment and, when the patient (or their legal guardian, if a minor) authorizes it, to show public support content.
Who can see it and how we protect it
- Access is restricted per family; each person sees only what the family authorizes.
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and private storage; nothing is public without authorization.
- Doctors' contact details are never public.
Third-party services
To operate, Reno relies on Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and Wise (to receive donations). Each processes data under its own terms.
Storage, deletion, and your rights
In line with Panama's Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection and international standards, you may request access, rectification, or deletion of the data at any time. Consent to publish the patient's image and story — given by them, or by their legal guardian when the patient is a minor — is revocable.
Contact
For any question or request about your data, write to privacy@myreno.app.
Cookies
Reno uses functional cookies (language and session), required for the site to work. On public pages we also use Google Analytics for anonymous usage metrics (which pages are visited), only if you accept the cookie notice: until then, analytics runs without cookies or identifiers. The families’ private space carries no analytics at all. We use no advertising cookies.
